Some of the 20th century’s greatest artists are represented in this small, diverse exhibition which is on loan from the East Anglia Art Fund. Enjoy examples of work by Auguste Rodin, Max Ernst, Graham Sutherland, Andy Warhol and others. Sir Robert and Lady Adeane were important collectors of 20th Century art, keen East Anglians and benefactors to the arts. The Modern Gallery at The Fitzwilliam is named after Sir Robert. Lady Adeane made a bequest of the paintings in this exhibition to the Tate in East Anglia Foundation which became the East Anglia Art Fund.
