Sir Peter Blake Bus

The Sir Peter Blake Art Bus is a twenty year-old double-decker bus designed by Sir Peter Blake and includes an exhibition of his latest work.

'The Godfather of British Pop Art', Sir Peter Blake, is renowned for his connection with the music industry, having produced iconic album covers for the Beatles, Paul Weller, The Who and Oasis.

The bus, the exterior of which has been designed in a rock 'n' roll Pop Art style, ensuring that its appearance is flamboyant, beautiful and, of course, groovy, was in Holt for one day with Sir Peter Blake on board. The Bircham Gallery presented an exhibition of Sir Peter Blake's latest work, part of a Rock 'n' Roll Tour of the UK, during Festival week.
